What is EFT?

I feel big shifts every time I do EFT with Sarah. - M.K., Florence, MAEmotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a technique which, in most cases, works more quickly and effectively than talk therapy alone.  Traditional psychotherapy believes that painful experiences from our past continue to negatively affect our thoughts and emotions.  This can lead to depression, anxiety, phobias, low self-esteem, self-defeating thought patterns, and relationship problems.  EFT believes this as well but it adds one crucial component.

EFT understands that painful experiences are also stored in our bodies, as a disruption in our energy system.  EFT recognizes the same energy system that acupuncture does, the meridian system. EFT uses gentle tapping to stimulate the energy flow and drain the pain out of even the most persistent emotional problems.

EFT can often eliminate emotional pain in just one session.  Even when it takes several sessions it is much faster than traditional talk therapy.  EFT is a painless technique which involves tapping on various points on the body to clear blockages and stimulate energy flow.  It is quick, easy and can be taught to clients for use at home which makes treatment faster and more affordable.

EFT works wonders on a wide range of emotional issues including:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Phobias of all kinds
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Negative thought patterns
  • Low self-esteem
  • Guilt
  • Blocks to success and abundance
